Tropical nature and white sandy beaches stretching all the way to the horizon: that’s Saint-Barthélemy, one of the most stunning islands in the Caribbean and home to Ligne St Barth. When Hervé Brin established the brand in 1983, he captured the French-Caribbean way of life and the nonchalance of an uncomplicated kind of luxury. The range initially consisted of Roucou Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Avocado Oil and Coconut Oil. Nature inspired products based on a knowledge of tropical botany, made using state of the art methods. In the brand’s early years, its first few products were packaged in traditional rum bottles hand-labelled using gold pen. They were carried to the beach in a suitcase and offered to visitors from overseas. Their desirability and success quickly spread all around the world. Other oils and gels, lotions and creams followed. Even now, the portfolio is constantly being expanded. Ligne St Barth’s success is closely interwoven with the island’s beauty heritage: as a popular destination for international personalities, a high-end spa culture emerged in villas and on private yachts in which Ligne St Barth played a significant role. 1983
A classic is born. The first products are sold right on the beach in hand-written rum bottles : Roucou Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Avocado Oil and Coconut Oil. Others follow: Ligne St Barth develops a comprehensive skincare series from the natural treasures of the Caribbean.
1990
International celebrities and top models discover the island in the 1990s and take a little bit of paradise back home with them, transporting Ligne St Barth’s beauty elixirs out into the world. They become ambassadors of casual luxury and serenity.
1998
An innovative spa concept for the legendary Roaring Pavilion in Jamaica heralds the beginning of a new era for Ligne St Barth. As well as being found in private villas and yachts, the brand is now at home in the world’s most exclusive wellness retreats.
2000
The Eau de Toilette "Homme" and an accompanying skincare range for men are launched.
2001
A complete facial care line was launched, offering performance, sensoriality, and naturalness, featuring Peeling Cream Papaya, Cream Mask Green Clay & Pineapple, Cream Mask Pink Clay & Passion Fruit, Cleansing Milk Frangipani, and Tonic Lotion Melon.

2006
Introduction of a new fragrance collection inspired by the diversity and strength of the tropics, including “Vanille West Indies,” which quickly became a brand classic.
2015
Launch of the Sea Breeze range: Premium Care Oil, Blue Lagoon, and Sunsplash.
2020
To support this growth, we relocated our production to mainland France in 2020 in order to increase manufacturing capacity. Every stage of the process continues to follow strict protocols and undergoes rigorous quality controls, ensuring our high standards as well as the authenticity and performance of each product.
2021
Tatyana and Amadeus Brin, children of the founder, established distribution entities in Europe to better support partners.
2022
Launch of three new Eaux de Parfum for Men: L’Original, Vétiver, and Islander.
2023
Launch of a trio of Roucou Tanning Oils with SPF 15, 30, and 50+.
2024
With 26 years of expertise in wellness, Ligne St Barth has reimagined and elevated its spa concept to offer an even more immersive and sensorial wellness experience, combining advanced techniques, performance optimization, and innovation.

Ligne St Barth celebrates it's 40th birthday! It's portfolio now comprises more than 40 products. They can be found in around 30 countries in the most beautiful spas and selected perfumeries.
