When Hervé Brin established the brand in 1983, he captured his Caribbean home’s way of life, initially with Roucou Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Avocado Oil and Coconut Oil. The first four products were sold right on the beach in hand-labelled rum bottles. Others followed and the portfolio continues to grow to this day.
Hervé Brin’s passion for the healing power of tropical plants was passed down to him by his grandmother. He knows the time-honoured formulas and combines tradition with new technologies and French-Caribbean savoir vivre.
The spa way of life
Ligne St Barth’s success is closely interwoven with the island’s beauty heritage: a high-end spa culture emerged in villas and on private yachts, which garnered attention and recognition for Ligne St Barth all around the world.
Serenity and sophistication
When celebrities and top models discovered the laid-back luxury of Ligne St Barth in the 1990s, they took the indulgent oils and gels, lotions and creams back home with them, transporting them all around the world. This enthusiasm still continues nowadays.
